Theater
Vista is home to 2 city-supported theaters. The Moonlight Amphitheatre is an open-air theater that specialized in musical productions. The Avo Playhouse hosts the winter season of the Moonlight Amphitheatre.
Outdoor Activities
The town has numerous city parks, including the Brengle Terrace Park and Guajome County Park. Brengle Terrace Park is home to the Moonlight Amphitheatre, baseball field, senior center, playground, and the city community center. Guajome County Park boasts 557 acres, featuring campsites, horse trails, and the Rancho Guajome Adobe, a National Historic Landmark.
The city's Wave Waterpark near downtown is open from mid-spring to early fall. Vista also features the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum, an open-air museum featuring various pieces and demonstrations of agricultural equipment from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
