Local Landmarks
The area is home to two California Historical Landmarks. The first is The Twentieth Century Folk Art Environments Grandma Prisbrey's Bottle Village, which features 25 years of Tressa Prisbrey's work in creating shrines, walkways, sculptures and buildings from recycled items she collected at the local dump. The other is Rancho Simi, site of the headquarters of the Spanish Rancho San Jose de Nuestra Senora de Altagarcia y Simi. In addition, the Ronald Regan Presidential Library has seen more than 1 million visitors since it opened.
